The homeowners brought a detailed vision for two kitchens, each with its own requirements. Ivy built and finished the main kitchen’s walnut cabinetry in house, with inset doors, detailed base molding, and gold latches. Manufacturer-built Koch cabinetry served the secondary kitchen, bringing Custom and Collections together within the same remodel.
Project details
Walnut, inset doors, and gold latches set the direction for the main kitchen. The homeowners led the design and worked closely with Ivy to resolve the details across both the main and secondary kitchens. Ivy built and finished the main kitchen cabinetry in house, using hardwood walnut and face frame inset construction. Detailed base molding carried the cabinetry’s profile down to the floor, while gold latches added a consistent hardware detail. The island incorporated a panel-ready dishwasher and trash pullout. Round flush-mount outlets required precise placement and drilling, and the range alcove called for coordination with the drywall crew to align the cabinetry with the surrounding construction. Koch Cabinets supplied the cabinetry for the secondary kitchen. The project paired two distinct production approaches, with Ivy contributing custom woodworking expertise in the main kitchen and a manufacturer-built cabinetry package in the adjoining space.
