Concrete walls and floors gave this Bentonville home a distinctly industrial character. The homeowners wanted cabinetry that introduced more warmth and visible wood texture. Ivy developed the cabinetry layout with their input and selected manufacturer-built Medallion rustic maple, using a light stain to retain the knots and character of the wood.
Project details
Rustic maple introduced a warmer material alongside the home’s concrete walls and floors. Near Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, the new construction combined industrial finishes with elements of container-style construction. The homeowners wanted a pronounced wood presence in the cabinetry. Ivy led the cabinetry design with their input, selecting Medallion rustic maple for its visible knots and texture. A light stain retained that character. The manufacturer-built cabinetry came through Ivy’s Collections offering. The selections extended throughout the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and hallway, carrying the wood into several parts of the home.
