The homeowner had a clear vision: cherry cabinetry, a particular stain, and integrated pulls. Ivy built and finished the kitchen in house, making custom cherry pulls sized for the cabinetry. A concealed walk-in pantry entrance carries the same material and pull details across the wall, becoming part of the cabinetry when closed.
Project details
Cherry and integrated pulls were central to a kitchen the homeowner had envisioned for years. Ivy worked directly with her to carry those choices through the remodel at Lake Atalanta in Rogers. The pull concept began with a reference the homeowner found online. Ivy made the pulls in house, tailoring their dimensions to the project and using cherry to match the cabinetry. Building both together allowed the hardware detail to follow the same material direction as the cabinets. A concealed entrance leads into the walk-in pantry. When closed, the door reads as part of the surrounding cabinetry, continuing the cherry and integrated pull details across the kitchen wall. Ivy built and finished both the cabinetry and pulls in house.
